2018 February 13 Meeting

The Skywatchers SIG will meet for its second 2018 meeting on 13 February. We will discuss the fascinating subject of why we appear to be alone in the universe with heavy emphasis on the case for we are alone. The basic reference for this discussion is the book: Rare Earth by Ward and Brownlee. In March we will follow up with the case for we are not alone in the universe. Given the vast size of the universe we will concentrate on our galaxy, The Milky Way. See you at the Lakehouse for the 7:00 PM meeting. The doors will be open at 6:30 PM
